THE PURPOSE:

The Evangelical Fellowship of Free Churches exists to glorify God in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. This is realized in our Evangelical Fellowship of Free Churches by actively supporting the work of planting churches, sponsoring missionaries, and facilitating the ordination of pastors in their local churches. The Evangelical Fellowship of Free Churches is a fellowship of churches that are evangelical in doctrine and free in policy. We desire never to become a denomination, but to remain a fellowship of churches that are united in our statement of faith. The Intermountain West District (IWD) is the parent district within the EFFC. A district is a group of churches within neighboring states. Currently the IWD is the only district within the EFFC. The IWD includes member churches in Wyoming, Utah and Idaho. Our desire is to develop other districts within the fellowship of the EFFC throughout the United States and around the world. As the Lord adds churches to our fellowship, new districts will prayerfully be developed.
